They are accomplished ballroom dance competitors (Ballroom standard, American Smooth and Latin) and instructors who have a soft spot for social dancing. Maksim (Max) Antipin
Instructor / co-owner
Max began to dance at the age of 7 in Ivanovo, Russia. He became champion of the central Russian region and placed in the top 24 of the Russian National Championships. Later he was recruited to teach internationally in Singapore where he was a successful Pro-Am professional and had the opportunity to work with elite international coaches. He was invited to the United States in 2016 to continue his teaching and dancing career. He was soon after introduced to Angela as a potential dance partner.
Angela Antipin
instructor / co-owner
Angela was introduced to the world of ballroom dance in her late teens, and a passion was ignited. She and her amateur partners were successful at the syllabus levels and were champions or finalists at many national competitions. In 2015, she turned professional. She and her previous professional partner competed in the American Smooth style and were finalists at regional and national competitions, including winners of the Washington Open. Angela has also cross-trained extensively in other forms of dance (ballet, contemporary, jazz, and modern) and movement (pilates/yoga).
Max and Angela have competed together in the American Smooth and International Standard styles and were finalists at many national competitions. They are formally trained in all the competitive ballroom dances and have successfully competed with students in both American Rhythm and Smooth and International Latin and Standard.
